February 2011

Peggy and Roger

Wow! It's hard to believe another month has gone by. I remember when I was a kid I thought time moved by so slowly but now....there just needs to be more time in the day.
I had someone come to us and ask to rent our house. What a blessing that has been. They move in the 15th of March which means we have been under a lot of pressure to get the house ready to rent. The inside is almost finished and should be ready for them.
Alexis finished up the basketball season undefeated and ready to rodeo and get her dairy calf ready for fair.
Roger had the chance to go on a snowmobile trip with a bunch of guys from work. He had a blast and is ready to go again....even though he was extremely sore the next couple of days. He said it was definitely worth the pain.
That's about it for February. Eat, work, sleep and do it again. Looking forward to the sunshine that has been peaking through. Definitely time for some good horse back riding.
Hope March treats you well!

Mom and Dad
It seems we have spent this month going to one doctor or another. But wait! We did take a few days to go visit our Utah families. It was nice to get away and to do some bonding with grandkids. Unfortunately, traveling is not an easy thing for Mom.
We were happy to be a part of Alexis’ baptism and are so pleased for her decision to become a member of the Church.
It is great to have Mark and Rachel’s family nearby. Every Saturday we get to watch Alex play basketball. He has really improved and it is fun to watch him progress. Attending the piano recital for Emily, Alex, and Lauren was delightful. They are all doing so well. With all the talent in our family maybe a talent show would be fun for the reunion.
The end of the month was a bit of a downer with Dad in the hospital for 3 days; so now he is recuperating and doing much better.
We are looking forward to springtime and are excited to see you all soon.

Becky and Christian

February started with Caitlin turning 2. I really can't believe she is a talking, running, jumping, tantrum throwing 2 year old. But she is. She will tell you she is 15 though. She had a great birthday and was all excited for cake and presents. Mom and Dad came down that weekend and brought Cait a beautiful dollhouse they had made. She loves it. Actually so do the boys but they won't admit it. Brenten just says he is helping Cait clean up her toys because he is a nice brother.

Our first indoor soccer season came to an end. I can't say we had a winning season but we are all improving and learning to play together. Our next season starts in March and we are hoping to have a few more wins. Because lets face it, winning is ALWAYS more fun.

The boys are doing great. Landon is excited to start school in the fall. He has already had his kindergarten well check. He is just a little guy he is in the 7th percentile in both height and weight. Maybe he will get a growth spurt one of these days.

I hope you all have a great month.
